What’s in my Notary Bag?
As a mobile notary, I carry a lot of things in my bag. I like to joke that I have a mini office in there😀.
I made a list of what’s in my bag for all clients. If you need anything, just ask, and I might have it in my small bag. That way, you don’t have to bring with you when we meet.

In this article, we will take a peek inside the notary bag to discover the indispensable tools and supplies that help mobile notaries efficiently perform their duties.
I have a Bag which is a laptop bag😅, works for me and conveniently holds all of my supplies.
Notary Seal and Journal:
I got a rectangle Notary Stamp that I use for every notary I perform. Along with that, I have a Notary log book / Journal where I record every notarial act I perform.
I have a compact Embosser, which is a small press that creates a raised seal on paper. I often use it on documents with multiple pages. Additionally, if clients request it, I can add a gold or red round sticker before embossing, further enhancing the appearance of the documents.
Although I don’t carry the stamp refill ink in my bag, I do have it available for use.
Various Types of Notarial Certificates:
I carry loose certificates & forms of various types, which I have personally created and I keep them in Binder which has plastic sleeves. Additionally, I also have stamps for different notarial acts Jurat Stamp, Acknowledgement Stamp, Copy certification Stamp, & got Custom Stamp made as well.
Thumbprint
I’ve witnessed numerous happy surprised reactions when I reveal my inkless thumb printer for taking thumbprints from infants who are 3–4 months. I successfully obtained thumbprints from infants in no time (I am a pro at it now, just saying 😉).
For adults, I carry a small fingerprinting Ink pad. To ensure cleanliness and remove any residual ink, I also keep alcohol wipes handy. My clients consistently express their appreciation for these thoughtful preparations.

Stationary
I always make use of a clipboard during my notarizations. Additionally, I ensure to have more than five pens available in blue and black ink, my personal favorite is the one with a 0.5mm point. I also carry a few other pens, these include a blue pen with a 1.0mm point, a Pilot Precise black pen, and a Cello Grip pen.
I have useful items such as a pencil, eraser, glue stick, stapler, staple remover, office scissors, correction tape, and scotch tape (though I rarely use it). Also carry a mini office supply kit, sticky notes, a receipt book, paper clips, and a magnetic clip. These items come in handy for various situations
Extras
I have created Digital Business Cards which I share over text or clients can scan QR codes and save my contact. If you’re interested, find instructions on how to make your own here. Recently I added a Magnetic Name tag which I got made from Zazzle.com
